AEV Traumahawk Type I Demo Unit

Description

This is The American-Crafted Experience

We design our Type I ambulances to be fully customized to cater to the unique needs of every fire and emergency fleet. Our team has an unwavering commitment to deliver one of the most dependable emergency vehicles on the road today, made to your exact specifications so you can protect and serve time and again.

We know lives depend on our products every day, and we take that responsibility seriously. That’s why we provide a full range of expertly crafted ambulances. We validate our engineering and construction through NHTSA high-speed crash and sled testing to improve our designs and ensure occupant safety.

We ensure AEV ambulances have structural strength and integrity by testing our ambulances at speeds 27% above federal guidelines for passenger cars. We are also the first manufacturer to conduct a multi-vehicle, opposite-side crash test.

Engineered Value

At AEV, we use rigorous manufacturing processes and engineering innovation to achieve superior quality and value, meeting your unique specifications.

Quality & Safety Built In

SAFETY INSIDE AND OUT

We are focused not only on the safety of our ambulances, but also on building them safely and protecting our people. That is why, since 2008, we have partnered with North Carolina OSHA as one of a select group of STAR manufacturers that go above and beyond the requirements of the law for health and safety.

PURPOSE-BUILT™ ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

We build our custom electrical sub-assemblies from as-built schematics outside the ambulance body to increase precision, improve quality and provide cleaner installations.

V-FORCE™ WELDS

We bevel the edges on our extrusions at the weld joints to provide increased surface area for stronger welds. This also allows them to be ground down smooth for an exceptional finish.

DUO-SHIELD™ PRIMER

We use two applications of primer materials in our paint process: 1) a durable epoxy coat to create stronger adhesion between the aluminum skin, paint prep and the primer layer, and 2) a urethane primer applied before the paint.

After Sales Support and Warranty

When a customer purchases an AEV ambulance, the experience is truly just beginning. A dedicated network of independent dealers, backed by the AEV team and REV Financial Services, proudly stands behind our products and cares for you long after the sale with outstanding warranties, including up to 7-year/70,000-mile paint and electrical warranties and up to a 20-year structural warranty.
